We work on both sides of queer displacement: strengthening community resilience in rural Oregon and providing a safe place to land for those who relocate to Portland seeking safety, healthcare, and connection.
Our programs and services are designed by and for homeless, low-income, disabled, and BIPOC LGBTQIA2S+ people. Our approach is person-first, trauma-informed, and rooted in accessibility.
We are weavers
Equi bridges differences: for rural and urban, housed and unhoused, youth and elders, we create the conditions for intergenerational and multicultural solidarity that transcends distance. Queer and trans communities are resilient and innovative, alive with a culture of care. Equi channels this momentum, building out care infrastructure to stabilize our communities and sustain movement work. For more than a decade, Equi has earned a reputation as a trusted connector, advocate, and catalyst for community-led change.
