Welcome to The Equi Institute, a compassionate nonprofit in Portland, Oregon, dedicated to providing essential LGBTQ+ health access through our Community Health Program. Our dedicated team of Community Health Workers (CHWs) and Certified Recovery Mentors (CRMs) are committed to offering vital peer support, services, and systems navigation to our diverse and vibrant community. We provide harm reduction strategies, health education, and crucial housing retention support to those who are unhoused or insecurely housed, fostering stability and well-being.
Moreover, our commitment extends beyond immediate assistance; we aim to connect those in need with gender-affirming care to empower them on their journey of self-discovery and self-affirmation.
